Now in its 19th year, Les Rendez-Vous de la Francophonie continues to promote the French language and its many cultural expressions around the world. From March 2 to 22, 2017, French-speaking Canada will be celebrating with 2,500 activities across the country. See the complete calendar at http://rvf.ca/en/calendar.
Jacinthe Lemire, CIF’s director, said that this year’s theme, “La Francophonie in 3D: Diversity, Duality, and Dynamism!” perfectly captures Canada’s Francophonie. The activities offered by the CIF and its partners give everyone the opportunity to appreciate the richness of the Francophone cultures and demonstrate the Acadian and Francophone community’s vibrancy and vitality.
