A Variety of Events Planned for National Francophone Immigration Week!

The 2018 edition takes place from November 4 to 10, 2018

Once again, the Coopérative d'intégration francophone (CIF) is joining forces with the Fédération des communautés francophones et acadienne (FCFA) for Francophone Immigration Week, a national initiative. This sixth edition will be held from November 4 to 10, 2018. Throughout Canada, every province and territory will be holding activities to celebrate French-speaking immigrants and their contribution to the vitality and spirit of Francophone and Acadian communities. This week of celebration is an excellent opportunity to develop and strenghten the bonds between Francophone newcomers and their host communities.
Prince Edward Island is planning a wide veriety of activities. First, students from six Francophone schools and the immersion schools will be invited to participate in a school contest on the topic of what makes a good neighbour ("Qu'est-ce qu'un bon voisin?"). The contest will last throughout the week.
