The CIF is an organization that welcomes French speaking newcomers and helps them get settled in Prince Edward Island. We also organize activities to raise awareness about cultural diversity. CIF is in charge of  the francophone population growth dossier for the Acadian and Francophone Community of PEI.
While the CIF mainly helps immigrants, the members of the welcoming community also benefit from some of the CIF's activities, namely with regard to awareness activities.

*Please note that all activities and projects must be carried out in French and pertain to Francophone immigration.

Services for the welcoming community
  • Awareness activities and education of the welcoming community on Francophone immigration concerns and the value of cultural diversity
  • Financial support for activities and initiatives that represent the CIF's vision, mission and mandate
  • Support to teachers and auxiliary staff for awareness activities and educational and extracurricular activities
  • Liaison with recruitment initiatives and organizations
Our partner, RDÉE Î-P.-É., provides awareness services for employers.

If you would like to submit an application for financial support, please consult the CIF's assessment criteria and fill out an application grid.
